Read a psalm of confidence and start the day with your head held high

Every now and then we wake up on the wrong foot, not knowing exactly what we have to do to overcome the challenges and difficulties that will come during the day. At these times we feel insecure and even anxious, which can paralyze us and hinder our performance. To put an end to this negative feeling, there is nothing better than reading a psalm of confidence before even getting out of bed.

Upon waking up, read Psalm 27 aloud.

Psalm of Trust

"The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the protector of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

When the wicked attack me to devour me alive,

They are my adversaries and enemies,

that slip and fall.

If a whole army camps against me, it will not fear my heart.

If a battle is waged against me, I will still have confidence.

I ask the Lord for only one thing, and I ask for it unceasingly:

is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,

there to admire the beauty of the Lord and to contemplate his sanctuary.

So, in the evil day, He will hide me in His tent,

He will hide me in the innermost part of his tabernacle,

on a rock he will raise me up.

But since now He lifts up my head

above the enemies that surround me;

And I will offer in the tabernacle sacrifices of rejoicing,

with songs and praises to the Lord.

Hear, Lord, the voice of my prayer,

Have mercy on me and listen to me.

My heart speaks to you, my face seeks you;

Your face, O Lord, I seek it.

Do not hide your face from me,

do not drive your servant away in anger.

You are my support, do not reject or abandon me,

O God, my Savior.

If my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take me in.

Teach me, Lord, your way;

because of adversaries, lead me on the straight path.

Do not abandon me to the mercy of the enemies, against me they rise up violently

and false testimonies.

I know I will see the Lord's benefits in the land of the living!

Wait on the Lord and be strong!

Strengthen your heart and wait on the Lord!"

Then say a prayer to your guardian angel asking him to accompany you on this day. Feel his presence and trust in all your potential!
