Read Psalm 25 - lamentation for moments of despair and regain your faith

There are times in life of great despair, when the light at the end of the tunnel seems to be out and the solution doesn't seem to exist. It is common for people to lose faith at these times, but it is exactly now when you need it the most. To reconnect with the divine, read Psalm 25, of lamentation and prayer, and surrender your life to a higher power. The weight you carry will become much lighter.

Psalm 25 - lamentation and prayer

"To you, Lord, I lift up my soul.

My God, in you I trust: let me not be disappointed!

Do not mock me, my enemies!

No, none of those who hope in you will be put to shame,

But the perfidious will be covered with shame.

Lord, show me your ways,

and teach me your paths.

Direct me in your truth and teach me,

because you are the God of my salvation

and in you I hope always.

Remember, Lord, your mercies and your kindnesses,

that are eternal.

Remember not the sins of mine

youth and my misdeeds;

in the name of your mercy,

remember me,

because of your goodness, Lord.

The Lord is good and upright,

so he leads the erring ones back to the straight path.

He leads the humble in righteousness, and teaches them his way.

All the ways of the Lord are grace and faithfulness,

for those who keep their covenant

and its precepts.

For your name's sake, Lord,

Forgive my sin, however great it may be.

What comes to the man who fears the Lord?

God teaches you the path you must choose.

He will live in happiness, and his posterity will possess the earth.

The Lord becomes intimate with those who fear him,

and manifests his covenant to them.

My eyes are always fixed on the Lord,

For He will deliver my feet from the snare.

Look at me and have mercy on me,

because I am alone and in misery.

Relieve the anguish of my heart,

and deliver me from afflictions.

See my misery and suffering

and forgive me all my faults.

Look at my enemies: they are many,

and with implacable hatred they pursue me.

Defend my soul and deliver me:

I, who have taken refuge in you, shall not be put to shame.

Protect my innocence and integrity,

because I hope in You, Lord.

O God, deliver Israel from all their troubles."

After reading Psalm 25, of lamentation and prayer, stay a few moments in silence, visualizing your problems going away. Don't despair, for you will never be alone.
